The Building Of The Eparchy Of Banja Luka

The building of the Orthodox Metropolis was built in 1904. Starting with the building of the Metropolis, in the public architecture of Banja Luka “Serbian-Byzantine“ style started to apply, with the elements taken from Serbian medieval architecture. This important object (today the Eparchy), was designed by the architect Josip Blažeković. It stands out by its richness of ornaments on the facades- profiled wreaths, floral decoration decanted by archivists and picturesque balconies in the central part.
