Description
After it lost its role as a Cathedral by the decision of the bishop of Banja Luka, Mr. Jefrem, dated June 30, 2009, this temple was declared the Court Temple of the Bishops of Banja Luka. There are no parishes near the temple, it is served by rank-and-file priests — officials of the Diocesan Administrative Board, the Ecclesiastical Court and the Episcopal Office. Also, at this temple, candidates for the priesthood and newly ordained priests undergo additional preparation, and after the necessary practice, they go on pastoral service to the parishes of the Eparchy of Banja Luka. The elder of the temple is Bishop Jefrem from Banja Luka.
