The Bočac Fortress is located on the left bank of Vrbas, in the middle of the road E661, between Banja Luka and Jajce. It was built in the beginning of the 15th century on the rock, with the task of defending the transition via Vrbas. The first time is mentioned in the Charter from 1448. The city was from 1463 to 1527, when it fell under Turk, was the establishment of the Jajačka banovina. In the early 18th century, Bočac is mentioned as a fortification with a few cannon. He was abandoned before 1833. It is subsequently determined and maintained for the turn of the Turkish occupation and are relatively well preserved, strong ramparts and towers that surround the spacious city yard.
